East view into the attic hallway from the observatory.

This view is facing east from the observatory. The attic hallway runs to the east end of the house and will be insulated from the rest of the attic by walls. The opening in the floor on the left is the access to the stairway. A sealed and insulated door will be placed at the closest roof truss to seal the observatory from the inside air. Another sealed door will be placed at the top of the stair also.
