West view into observatory from attic hallway

This view is facing west from the hallway just above the access stair. The hallway and observatory floor are in place. These floors, and the observatory walls, will be insulated from the main house. A second floor will be built above this observatory subfloor which will provide a space to run cables and put power supplies. The upper floor will be removable in sections for access to the space. The rebar pier support rods can be seen extending through the floor into the observatory prior to putting the tubular cement form over it. The roof over the observatory is temporary.
